Update on Possibility of MLW PPVs Landing on MyAEW

MLW gets around. When it comes to TV, they seem to find new partners whenever they need them, especially after finally settling with WWE in 2023, to get the company to stop interfering with their TV presence. WWE had been using its corporate weight to keep MLW off any networks they had dealings with, despite the fact that no reasonable viewer would consider MLW real competition for the TKO-backed powerhouse.
AEW, which has a bit more of a philosophy of cooperation, might seem a logical partner, and fans have been wondering if MLW Pay-Per-View shows could end up on myAEW, which could always use more content. According to Sean Ross Sapp in a new Fightful Select Answers Q&A, that’s just a fan pipedream for now.
“There’s always a chance, but I haven’t heard of that,” he wrote. “Ultimately, they will do what’s right for them while weighing money and availability.” Sapp notes they’re on a rights deal with Tubi and are shopping secondary rights around.
MLW’s next major PPV, Saturday Night SuperFight, is scheduled for November 7th, and will be shown live on Live Nations’ VEEPS, out of Chicago’s Cicero Stadium. Any further announcements of any different PPV partners would likely be held until after that event.
