Note on WWE Potentially Signing More Talents From AAA

During today’s edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp answered a fan question about whether WWE will eventually sign more talent from the AAA roster. WWE acquired AAA last year.

According to Sapp, WWE will sign more talent as needed, but they already have the rights to use all of the AAA talent, and it will reportedly happen as the parent company decides to bring them over.

Sapp also noted that he hasn’t heard of any imminent signings of WWE from AAA, and he expects that WWE will always sign more talent, regardless of the brand, including AAA.

AAA is set to hold its next big event, Rey de Reyes, on Saturday, March 14, for Week 1 and March 21 for Week 2. It will be held at the Auditorio GNP Seguros in Puebla, Mexico.

Night 1 will feature Dominik Mysterio defending the AAA Mega Title against El Hijo del Vikingo in a No DQ match. If Vikingo loses, he can no longer challenge for the title as long as Mysterio is champion.

However, if Vikingo wins, Mysterio has to leave AAA. It remains to be seen if Danhausen’s curse will still affect Mysterio heading into this match.
