Paul Heyman comments on Brock Lesnar’s retirement. Ahead of WrestleMania 42, Heyman told TMZ Sports that Brock had no intentions of hanging up his boots and that he’d dominate for 15 more years.
As it turned out, Lesnar lost to Oba Femi fair and square in the middle of the ring at The Show of Shows in Las Vegas. Following that, he removed his gloves and boots and left them in the middle of the ring to signal his retirement. Lesnar and Heyman emotionally embraced each other, with the WWE Hall of Famer visibly crying as his client acknowledged fans in attendance on his way out.
Speaking to TMZ Sports recently, Paul Heyman claimed that he had no idea that Lesnar would retire at ‘Mania when he made those comments in the lead-up.
“If I knew he was gonna retire, would I have gone on record saying he was gonna dominate for the next 15 years? I was crying. Am I that good of an actor that I can cry on cue? Not I,” he said.
Lesnar has since been moved to the WWE Alumni section. Meanwhile, Paul Heyman is currently focused on managing The Vision. The Oracle recently talked about his new client, Bron Breakker’s, match with Seth Rollins at Backlash. You can check out his comments HERE.
