During last night’s WWE SmackDown, Kit Wilson of Pretty Deadly competed in singles action against Carmelo Hayes. Hayes’ former tag team partner, The Miz, appeared in Wilson’s corner. Wilson also had new theme music, leading to questions surrounding his status with his tag team partner, Elton Prince.
This prompted a fan on X to ask Wilson, “Twin, did you break up with Elton?” Kit Wilson later responded, “I’ll never break up with that man.” You can view that exchange below.
As previously reported, it was mentioned earlier during a June edition of SmackDown that Elton Prince was sidelined with an injury.
After appearing for a couple of matches of WWE Main Event in August, Kit Wilson returned to WWE TV in October, losing a Main Event bout against Montez Ford. Now, Kit Wilson appears to be moving forward in a new era, but his future with Elton Prince and Pretty Deadly remains to be seen.
Pretty Deadly last teamed together on the May 2, 2025 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, losing to Fraxiom. During their run in WWE, they’ve become NXT UK Tag Team Champions and two-time NXT Tag Team Champions.
They later moved up to the main roster after getting drafted to SmackDown as part of the 2023 WWE Draft. However, in that time, they’ve failed to capture any tag team gold on the blue brand.
