Ricky Saints Reacts After Retaining NXT Championship At Halloween Havoc 2025

NXT Champion Ricky Saints had a memorable outing at the just-concluded Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event. The Absolute star retained his gold against two-time NXT Champion Trick Williams in what turned out to be an incredible back-and-forth encounter.

Following his memorable win, Saints took to social media (X) to break his silence.

Saints won the NXT Championship at last month’s No Mercy Premium Live Event, ending Oba Femi’s monumental 263-day reign. Coming into this contest, Ricky had the responsibility of proving that his win over The Ruler wasn’t a fluke. And he was able to cement his place as NXT’s top dog by taking the fight to a determined and hostile Trick Williams. The former TNA World Champion tried everything to regain the NXT Championship, but Saints just wasn’t willing to give up.

The back-and-forth encounter eventually ended with Ricky Saints nailing Trick with a Spear and a Tornado DDT via the top rope to secure the three count. The night ended with Ricky Saints standing tall as the top guy in NXT’s men’s division.
