Lee Moriarty’s ROH Pure Championship defense has been moved from Final Battle to next month’s Boxing Day Brawl. It was announced by Tony Khan after ROH Black Friday that Moriarty’s title defense against Komander won’t be at Final Battle. Komander has been moved to the ROH World Championship match, which was changed due to RUSH’s injury. Bandido now defends against Komander, Hechicero, Sammy Guevara, Beast Mortos, and Blake Christian in a Survival of the Fittest match.
As a result, Moriarty will defend the title against Komander at Boxing Day Brawl, which airs on December 26th. Moriarty now battles Nigel McGuinness at Final Battle in a 30-minute Iron Man Match.
The Pure Championship match is the first announced for Boxing Day Brawl.
With Rush out of #ROHFinalBattle after his injury vs Bandido on Collision 11/15, Komander was called up for the World Title Survival of the Fittest.
