Roman Reigns Hits Another Milestone as WWE Universal Champion
December 15, 2023 | Posted by
Another day, another milestone for Roman Reigns in his reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Reigns has now been champion for 1,200 days. He won the title on August 30, 2020 at WWE Payback, defeating Braun Strowman and then-champion Bray Wyatt.
He is closing in on surpassing the second WWE title reign of Bruno Sammartino (1,237 days), which he will have done by the time he gets to the Royal Rumble. After that, it will be the WWE title reign of Hulk Hogan (1,474 days). He will surpass that if he keeps the title until September 12, 2024.
Reigns became WWE Champion as well on April 3, 2022 and has held that belt for 621 days.
