Seth Rollins is dealing with a minor injury, but WWE could bring him back to television at any time if needed, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Rollins has been absent from Monday Night Raw since SummerSlam. His absence has raised questions about whether he was dealing with an injury or taking time away for creative reasons. According to Meltzer, Rollins’ current issue is “a minor injury” that WWE is “giving him time to heal up,” but he could be back now or sooner than if needed.
The report states that WWE is giving Seth Rollins time to recover while planning his return for “maximum impact.” Despite his absence from weekly television, Rollins has remained active outside the regular broadcast schedule.
It was not scheduled to air on television. WWE has not announced when Rollins will return to its weekly programming.
