As previously reported, there are unconfirmed rumors that Brock Lesnar got into some sort of verbal confrontation with Vince McMahon after Brock Lesnar returned backstage after the main event at WrestleMania 34. In the headliner, Lesnar pinned Roman Reigns in a surprising finish. However, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is also saying that Shane McMahon was present during the alleged incident.

In another detailed rumor about this confrontation, Dave Meltzer stated on The Wrestling Observer Radio (via WrestlingInc.com) that Shane McMahon was allegedly involved in the confrontation as well. According to the latest rumor, Shane jumped in after Brock Lesnar reportedly threw the Universal Championship at a wall and acted like he wanted to fight Lesnar. Based on the account, no words were exchanged, and then Lesnar later left the building.

Meltzer indicated this backstage confrontation could’ve been a “work.”

There have also been conflicting reports regarding Lesnar’s current WWE contract status. One report indicates that Lesnar has signed a new multi-year contract. Meanwhile, Bleacher Report’s Jeremy Botter reported that Lesnar is only signed for one more match, which would be the cage match with Roman Reigns at The Greatest Royal Rumble event later this month. In other words, it would be a one-shot deal if that’s true.
