It had been previously reported that Shane Strickland was finishing up with MLW and would be starting with WWE in January. Pwinsider.com says that may not be the case and that they have been told by several sources that there may be a delay to a contractual concern with his Lucha Underground deal that needs to be resolved before he can officially sign with and start with WWE. Strickland will continue to work for MLW during this time period and their Miami double-shot next week may no longer be his final dates for the promotion. MLW had been planning for Strickland’s exit as far back as the Wargames match.
