Sheamus Comments On Reaching Free Agency

Sheamus is officially a free agent, and he says he’s looking to face anyone who wants to step up to face him. As noted earlier today, the wrestling star officially became a free agent after his WWE contract expired. He exited WWE back in July.

Sheamus posted to his Twitter account on Friday to comment on his future, sharing a couple of pics of himself in the ring. He wrote simply:

“all challengers welcome – s. farrelly”

Sheamus had been with WWE since 2006, and has his last match for the company on the October 17th, 2025 episode of Raw. He suffered a shoulder injury in the match and had not returned to TV before exiting the company. He is a three-time WWE Champion, a former World Heavyweight Champion, a three-time WWE United States Champion, and a four-time World Tag Team Champion. He also had one run with the WWE Tag Team Championships.

It has been reported that AEW has interest in him, and that some on the roster are supportive of him coming into the company.
