– A new Unified Global Force Wrestling Global champion was crowned at the Impact Wrestling tapings held on Thursday night in a gauntlet match. Wrestling Inc reports that Eli Drake won the championship in the match to win his first World Championship. He previously held the GFW King of the Mountain Championship.

The match was described as similar to the Royal Rumble, with a new entrant every ninety seconds and eliminations coming from going over the top rope. The final two competitors then faced off to a pinfall or submission. Drake and Eddie Edwards were the first two competitors and the final two.
