SUMIE SAKAI, NICOLE SAVOY CLASH IN GRUDGE MATCH AT ROH PAST VS. PRESENT

ROH Past vs. Present is loaded with match-ups pitting competitors from the company’s early years against those of today, but this one’s different.

This one’s personal.

Nicole Savoy will be looking to settle a score with Sumie Sakai when they square off in Las Vegas on March 14.

Savoy defeated the veteran Sakai in her ROH debut at Final Battle Fallout in December. The bout was highly competitive, but both Savoy and Sakai competed honorably and displayed sportsmanship.

The following month at Saturday Night at Center Stage, Savoy and Sakai teamed together in a losing effort against The Allure (Angelina Love and Mandy Leon). After the match, Sakai shocked the crowd by attacking Savoy and leaving her lying.

Savoy and Sakai faced each other the next night at Honor Reigns Supreme, and Sakai once again showed her newfound vicious streak, as she nailed Savoy with a chain to steal the victory.
