Swerve Strickland vs. Andrade El Idolo & MJF Segment Added To 1/28 AEW Dynamite

A mouthwatering singles match has been announced for next week’s AEW Dynamite, with former World Champion Swerve Strickland set to go one-on-one with Andrade El Idolo.
Andrade, who defeated Magnus on tonight’s Collision, set his sights on the AEW World Championship during a backstage promo, adding that Swerve was in his way.
Later, Tony Khan took to X to make the match official for the January 28 episode of Dynamite.

Reigning AEW World Champion MJF has also been announced for the show. Additionally, three championship matches will take place at the Cedar Park in Austin, Texas, this Wednesday. FTR will defend the World Tag Team Title against Mark Davis and Jake Doyle, while El Clon will challenge Mark Briscoe for the TNT Championship. Finally, AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander will put her gold on the line against Thekla.
