Tatum Paxley Dethrones Jacy Jayne As NXT Women’s Champion At Halloween Havoc 2025

Tatum Paxley defeated Jacy Jayne in a hugely entertaining match to win the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Halloween Havoc 2025.

The match started off with both competitors engaging in traditional holds to gain an advantage. Jacy Jayne managed to do that by hitting a Rolling Swanton on Paxley. However, the latter countered the second attempt by moving out of the way, leading to another back-and-forth.

With Jayne in a corner, Paxley launched herself onto her and then hit an elbow on the NXT Women’s Champion. Paxley continued to outsmart Jayne with her acrobatics. Still, the defending champ managed to regain control after using the ring skirt to her advantage and then launching Tatum into the exposed steel part of the ring.

Tatum tried to mount a comeback, but her efforts were neutralized by Jacy, who nailed an avalanche neckbreaker on her opponent. However, Shawn Spears came to Paxley’s rescue, as he put her foot on the rope. This triggered a brawl between The Culling and Fatal Influence, leading to the referee ejecting them from ringside

This led to both women trading near falls. Paxley connected with a 450 Splash, but Jayne managed to kick out. Jayne retained control with a neckbreaker, only for Paxley to counter her by sending her opponent’s head crashing into the apron.

Back in the ring, the two traded several blows before kicking each other to land flat on the mat. At this moment, The Culling returned to ringside to distract the referee. At this very moment, Izzi Dame appeared in the ring and smashed Jayne with the NXT Women’s Championship belt, allowing Paxley to hit a Cemetery Drive and win the coveted title.
