Taynara Conti Teases Idea of Coming to Impact, Deonna Purrazzo Chimes In
Taynara Conti has been quiet about her future plans since being released from WWE, but she hinted at a potential jump to Impact on Twitter. Conti was mentioned by Madison Rayne on Twitter while playing “fantasy booker” for a revival of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships and imagined teaming with either Tenille Dashwood, Deonna Purrazzo, Conti, or Diamante in a chase of the titles.
In response, Conti seemed open to the idea and, when Purrazzo — who debuted on Impact last week — chimed in with the idea of teaming with Conti as “Team Released” (a play on Conti’s famous NXT shirt), Conti seemed very down with the idea.
While this is all fairly tongue in cheek between the talent, a fan did note that Conti and Impact Wrestling EVP Scott D’Amore very recently began following each other. While that’s obviously not a confirmation of anything, it is suggestive of Conti potentially being brought in.
Conti was released from her WWE contract in April along with a host of other stars, and Impact has hinted at the arrival of former WWE stars at Slammiversary next month.
Ok ok I fully support this tweet, and let’s play fantasy booker for a second…
