In a new video she shared on her YouTube channel today, TNA Wrestling star and Knockout Tessa Blanchard revealed that she’s been off television since July as she recently underwent breast augmentation surgery. In the video, Tessa Blanchard shared the personal update on deciding to undergo the surgery. Below are some highlights (via Fightful):
Tessa Blanchard on deciding to get the surgery: “I have decided to get a boob job. This isn’t something that I’m doing for clout. This isn’t a gimmick. It’s not about trying to live up to someone else’s idea of beauty. It’s something I’ve thought about for a long time. Now, I’m finally doing it. For me. I’ve already had the consultation. The decision is made. Soon, I’ll be taking some time from wrestling to heal and take care of my body.”
On taking time off to heal from the surgery: “I had my surgery on July 30th. We’re a little over a month. I took about a month off, which, honestly, I think I needed but didn’t really know it. It felt good to be at home and focus on recovering and letting my body heal.”
As previously noted, Tessa Blanchard was taken off television following TNA Slammiversary after she attacked Gia Miller and Indi Hartwell. The 30-year-old wrestler recently made her in-ring return earlier this month at CMLL Informa.
The former TNA World Champion and Knockouts World Champion made her return to TNA Wrestling last December at Final Resolution. Blanchard is also scheduled for action later tonight at TNA Bound for Glory, where she will face Gia Miller in a singles bout. The event is being held at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, and will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
