– According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there as talk about the NJPW G1 Climax finals show airing in the US as a PPV. There were talks that they would do the PPV, with Ring of Honor serving as their production partner and marketing the show in the US instead of Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling. While the sides had talks, they never got to the final/serious stages.
