AEW All Out has sold out the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, ahead of the September 26 event. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports 9,216 tickets distributed for All Out.
Dave Meltzer reports that additional seats could still be added through “production kills released and boxes,” bringing the final attendance close to 10,000. The current secondary-market get-in price for AEW All Out was approximately $60, according to the newsletter.
Meanwhile, WWE x AAA/NXT Worlds Collide has distributed 12,629 tickets for its September 26 event at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The WWE event has not sold out yet. Allstate Arena has a larger seating setup than the NOW Arena, allowing WWE to continue selling tickets. The newsletter listed a secondary-market get-in price of approximately $73 for Worlds Collide.
CM Punk is scheduled to appear at the event, which is built primarily around WWE’s collaboration with AAA. Meltzer noted that, while the event is not sold out, it is “a feather in their cap,” and that CM Punk sold “that many tickets to a show with few angles,” with him as the main attraction, based on AAA.
AEW All Out and WWE x AAA/NXT Worlds Collide will take place on the same day in neighboring Chicago-area venues. Meltzer also noted that if both shows cross the 10,000-ticket mark, it will be “one of the rare times in history that two rival groups had topped that mark on the same day.”
