TNA President Comments on Mike Santana’s Victory on WWE NXT

TNA President Carlos Silva has reacted to Mike Santana’s huge victory on last night’s episode of WWE NXT. As reported previously, the TNA World Champion was in action in front of his home fans in New York City last night, as he teamed up with OTM to take on DarkState in a six-man tag team contest. The closing moments of the 11-minute bout saw Mike Santana hit Spin the Block, allowing OTM to get a pinfall victory via In the Mud.

Earlier today, Carlos Silva addressed Mike Santana’s victory on WWE NXT via social media. He wrote, “Well done, Mike. Always great to get a hometown win.” Check out his post below:

Meanwhile, Mike Santana is set for a huge match in the coming days. The TNA World Champion is set to defend his championship against Eddie Edwards at the annual Rebellion pay-per-view event in Cleveland, Ohio, on April 11.

The match came into being after TNA announced this past Monday that Edwards would be cashing in his Feast or Fired World Title shot at Rebellion. Santana was notably involved in a brawl with Edwards after his scheduled title match against Steve Maclin was abruptly called off this past Friday at Sacrifice.
