Tommaso Ciampa Sends Message to TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher on AEW Collision

Tommaso Ciampa has his sights firmly on AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher.

The Psycho Killer captured the TNT Championship from Mark Briscoe in his debut outing for AEW in late January. However, his reign lasted just 11 days, as the former WWE Superstar was dethroned by Kyle Fletcher on the go-home episode of Dynamite ahead of Grand Slam: Australia.

Fletcher took the championship to his home city, Sydney, where he retained it against Briscoe in a brutal Ladder Match. The Protostar has yet to return to the United States.

Tommaso Ciampa gave a backstage interview to Lexy Nair on tonight’s Collision, where he expressed his desire to share the ring with Mark Briscoe again. He then turned his attention to Fletcher, noting how the latter was still in Australia for what he termed a “vacation.” Ciampa proceeded to warn Kyle, declaring that he would be present backstage to confront him once the Australian returns to the US.

“Lexy, it has been 24 days since I became All Elite. 21 days since I went to war with Mark Briscoe, and I became the new TNT Champion. Speaking of Mark Briscoe, I know he is not here tonight; he’s healing up from a Ladder match, but when you do get back, Mark, it will be my honor to share that ring, friend or foe, whatever it may be.

“But the number that’s on my mind, Lexy, [is] 10. Ten days since I lost that TNT Title and Kyle Fletcher took it all the way to Australia to a hero’s homecoming, and then he stayed in Australia, taking a bit of a vacation as if I’m just gonna disappear. Well, Kyle, when you get backstage, I will be here, and I want you to understand that The Psycho Killer wants it back.”
