AEW Grand Slam: Australia proved to be an event to forget for Wheeler Yuta, as he got pinned by Timeless Toni Storm in the Hair vs. Hair Mixed Tornado Tag Team Match, also involving Orange Cassidy and Marina Shafir. Not only did he lose the match, but the Death Riders also had to bear the humiliation of getting his head shaved in front of the whole world.

The rival teams started brawling in the crowd during their entrance. During the brawl, Wheeler Yuta Piledrove Storm on a platform laden with television equipment.

Luther carried Storm to the back, forcing Orange Cassidy to fend for himself for a while. However, Storm eventually returned and kicked Yuta in the nuts before delivering a German Suplex to Marina Shafir in the ring.

The closing moments of the match saw Yuta attempt a knee strike on Cassidy, who ducked, leading to Yuta taking out Shafir. Storm Suplexed Yuta and then nailed him in the corner with a hip attack. Cassidy then hit the Orange Punch before Toni executed the Storm Zero to pin Yuta.

After the match, Yuta tried to escape being shaven bald, only for Jon Moxley to send him back to the ring, where Mina Shirakawa was present with a stool, and Luther was dressed as a barber. Shirakawa received the honor of shaving Yuta’s hair first before Storm got into action.

Cassidy then brought the electric clippers and handed them to Luther. After using the clippers, Storm asked Yuta, “How do you like that, you bald b*st*d?”
