Wheeler Yuta on How Blackpool Combat Club Game Plans Their Matchups

– During a recent interview with Rasslin’ with Brandon F. Walker, AEW star Wheeler Yuta discussed how Blackpool Combat Club game plans their matches. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):

Wheeler Yuta on how BCC game plans their matchups: “Usually before the matches, we sort of game plan things. We talk during the day and try to figure out different little things that [Regal] can see improve from the week before. And then after the match, we go over whether or not it happened. So it’s always been really helpful. And then if he thinks of anything a few days later, he’ll send me a text.”

On getting advice from his stablemates: “Absolutely. Especially Danielson. Mox is more of when we’re at the building. He’s very aloof, a very mysterious man … Danielson, you get some casual exchanges.”

On if William Regal “texts British”: “I don’t know if he texts British, but I read it in the voice in my head. So I don’t know if that’s me or him.”

At this month’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event, Yuta will team with Eddie Kingston and Shota Umino against The Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara) and Minoru Suzuki. The event is scheduled for June 26 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
