Willow Nightingale Retains TBS Title In Four-Way Match On AEW Dynamite

Willow Nightingale survived three opponents to walk out of her match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite still the TBS Champion. Wednesday night’s show saw Nightingale put her title on the light against Megan Bayne, Mina Shirakawa, and Marina Shafir in a four-way bout. Nightingale was able to pick up the win and retain her championship in a little over 11 and a half minutes.

The finish saw Shirakawa go for a figure four after having hit a missile dropkick followed by a spinning backfist. However, Nightingale was able to roll Shirakawa up to get the pinfall and retain her title. You can see highlights from the match below.

Nightingale’s title reign stands at 50 days. She defeated Mercedes Mone at AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Smash on December 31st to capture the title and end Mone’s 584-day title reign. She is also the co-holder of the AEW World Women’s Tag Team Championships with Harley Cameron in the Babes Of Wrath. They have held those titles for 71 days, having become the inaugural champions at AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming on December 10th.
