WrestleMania 42 ticket sales remain below last year’s pace with nine days to go, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The two-night event is scheduled for April 18 and April 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
As of the latest figures, Night 1 has 39,345 tickets sold, including both paid sales and complimentary tickets. Night 2 stands at 41,317. Combined, the event is tracking 19.1% behind the same point last year.
The current setup at Allegiant Stadium is configured for approximately 60,000 seats per night. Based on the available numbers, Dave Meltzer notes that there is no chance either night will be a true sell out, though they may fill all the seats by papering the crowd.
Secondary-market pricing reflects current demand. Entry-level tickets are listed at around $199 for Night 1, which is actually up 31.8% compared to the same period last year, and $189 for Night 2, which is down 19.2% compared to last year. The pricing trend is notable as Night 2 is listed lower, despite being positioned as the stronger card on paper.
