WWE Has Reportedly Discussed Bringing Back Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin could be on his way back to WWE, with the company having discussed the notion according to a new report. It was noted on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that there have been discussions of Corbin making his return to the company. Dave Meltzer noted, “I haven’t had it officially confirmed to me it’s done. But I have 100% confirmed that it’s been heavily talked about.”

Corbin exited WWE in November of 2024 after the company chose not to renew his contract. It ended a 12 year run with the company. Corbin has been busy on the independent scene, working as Bishop Dyer. He is the current co-holder of the MLW World Tag Team Championships alongside Donovan Dijak as The Skyscrapers.

Meltzer speculated — and to be clear, explicitly stated that it was his own speculation — that the segment on WWE where Danhausen appeared to be playing Frankenstein with a large individual on a gurney could be a set up for Corbin’s return.

Corbin is a former WWE United States Champion and former NXT Tag Team Champion.
