WWE King and Queen of the Ring Tournament Winners to Receive World Title Shots at SummerSlam

– WWE Chief Creative Officer Triple H dropped a bombshell at today’s WWE Experience event in Saudi Arabia. He announced that the winners of this year’s King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments will receive world title shots for their respective brands later this year at WWE SummerSlam. Triple H also wrote on social media, “The stakes just got even higher. The winners of this Saturday’s King and Queen of the Ring Tournament Finals will each secure a championship opportunity at #SummerSlam. #WWEKingAndQueen”

Gunther will face the winner of tomorrow’s semifinal bout between Randy Orton and Tama Tonga in the King of the Ring finals. Meanwhile, Lyra Valkyria faces the winner of the semifinal bout between Nia Jax vs. Bianca Belair. The tournament finals will be held at the WWE King and Queen of the Ring even ton Saturday, May 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the Jeddah Super Dome. The event will be broadcast live on Peacock.

WWE SummerSlam 2024 will be held later at the Cleveland Browns Stadium on Saturday, August 3 in Cleveland, Ohio.
