Spoilers From WWE LFG Taping Before 1/27 NXT

Last night, WWE taped a couple of matches for the third edition of “WWE LFG.” The matches were taped before the January 27 episode of NXT went on air.

As usual, Vic Joseph and Jeremy Borash performed the commentary duties. Kali Armstrong went one-on-one with Layla Diggs, while Apollo Crews and Elijah Holyfield teamed up to take on the duo of Jamie Garcia and Malik Blade. Crews last performed on WWE TV in January 2025 and is currently active in AAA.

As reported previously, the production for WWE LFG Season Three is currently underway. The show is set to undergo major changes, with former Women’s Champion Natalya and former Universal Champion Kevin Owens replacing Michelle McCool and The Undertaker, respectively, as mentors. The format is also allegedly set to undergo an overhaul, with more emphasis being placed on talents than on competition between mentors.
