Saturday Night’s Main Event is heading to Sunday in September, with the company announcing a Sunday Night’s Main Event in the previous Money in the Bank slot. As noted earlier today, WWE announced that Money in the Bank had been moved from September 6th to October 10th at at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
WWE followed up the news on WWE Raw as they announced that the Sunday-set Main Event special will now take place on September 6th. The show emanates from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday at 10 AM ET.
This is the first time in at least the current run of the Peacock-airing specials that one has aired on a Sunday instead of a Saturday. Before then, the company will hold a Saturday Night’s Main Event in July at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Of course, no matches for either show have been announced as of yet.
