Update on When The WWE Women’s Tournament Will Tape

According to Pwinsider.com, the announced WWE Women’s Tournament will film in July, likely at Full Sail University. The tournament will air in a weekly format similar to the WWE Cruiserweight Classic, will include 32 competitors; WWE is currently going through the traditional background checks that take place before WWE offers deals. The site also adds that the current plan is to hold the finals of the tournament as a live WWE Network special on Tuesday August 29.
