Big Cass Needs Knee Surgery – Out Up to Nine Months
August 22, 2017 | Posted by
WWE has announced that Big Cass’ knee injury will need surgery and may keep him out for up to nine months. The company revealed that an initial MRI revealed an ACL tear, which WWE ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson said was “possibly a medial meniscus tear, but we’re going to wait for the radiologist to evaluate the MRI and give us their full report.”
Cass will undergo surgery this week. Robinson noted that the recovery time for an ACL tear is usually about nine months.
Cass was injured during his match on Raw, a Street Fight against Enzo Amore, when he went over the ropes and landed wrong.
