Ricardo Lamas spoke with MMAjunkie ahead of his fight with Josh Emmett at UFC on FOX 26 about a possible rematch with Max Holloway and more. Highlights are below:

On a possible rematch with Holloway: “I’d love to get the rematch with Max, but we’re taking it one fight at a time right now,” Lamas told MMAjunkie on Thursday in advance of his FOX-televised fight. “Josh Emmett on Saturday, and we’ll see what happens after that.”

On Holloway’s dominance of the featherweight division: “He’s doing awesome. It’s not his weight class, though. It’s the sport’s weight class. He’s going good. He’s come a long way in this sport from his debut in the UFC, getting submitted in the first round. Whatever he’s doing, he’s doing it right.”
