Connor Jessup to Star in Netflix’s Locke and Key

Connor Jessup is set to star in Netflix’s adaptation of Joe Hill’s horror comic Locke and Key. Deadline reports that Jessup (American Crime) will star as Tyler Locke in the series. In addition, Emilia Jones will play Tyler’s sister Kinsey, and Jackson Robert Scott will play their youngest brother Bode.

Locke & Key tells the story of three siblings who, following their father’s grisly murder, are moved by their mother back to the family’s home in Massachusetts. There, Bode (and then the others) discover that their new home is home to a set of magical keys with different abilities. In addition, there is a demon who is seeking its freedom and will do anything necessary to obtain the keys.

The series runs ten episodes, with Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House) as showrunners. It does not yet have a release date.
