Uma Thurman Weighs In On Chances of Kill Bill 3 Happening Soon

Despite some speculation to the contrary, Uma Thurman doesn’t see Kill Bill 3 happening any time soon. Belief that a third film in the franchise might be on the way perked back up last year after Quentin Tarantino teased that it could be his last film. Thurman was a guest on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show recently and was asked about the possibility of returning to the franchise.

“There was real thought about it happening,” she said (courtesy of Deadline). “I don’t see it as immediately on the horizon. I hate to disappoint people. Everybody wishes it would be the case, but I think it’s not immediately on the horizon.”

Thurman played the Bride in the duology, which released in 2003 and 2004 to critical acclaim and commercial success. Tarantino has regularly spoken about the possibility of revisiting the characters in various forms over the years.
