Sledge Announces Free Agency After ROH Contract Expires
– As previously reported, Sledge’s previous deal with ROH was expected to expire at the end of February. Sledge has since confirmed the news earlier today via Twitter.
Sledge wrote, “At midnight last night my contract with @ringofhonor expired. I’m now officially a free agent. I want to thank the staff and office people @ringofhonor for believing in me and giving me a platform to perform on. What’s next? Only time will tell.”
Sledge had previously signed a new ROH deal about a year ago. Some ROH deals expired in December, and some talents received releases following Final Battle that month. Additionally, some of the other contracts were reportedly expected to last until March 2022.
