Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Trailer Features Mimics, Owlbears & More
The first trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves has arrived, jam-packed with creatures TTRPG fans will recognize. Paramount Pictures released the trailer for the live-action D&D movie on Thursday and you can check it out below.
The trailer introduces our characters as a band of adventures (Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, and Justce Smith) who accidentally unleash a great evil that they take it upon themselves to stop. Along the way they recruit a druid (Sophia Lillis) who turns into an owlbear at one point and run afoul of a mimic, cultists, a displacer beast, a gelatinous cube, and — of course — at least one dragon.
The film is set to release on March 3rd, 2023 and is directed by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley from a script they wrote with Michael Gilio. It also stars Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head and Hugh Grant and is described as follows:
A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.
