The Four Horsewomen never got the big Fatal Four-Way match that they wanted, but Becky Lynch isn’t completely ruling it out. There have long been hopes and speculation from fans that Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, and Mercedes Mone might lock up against each other in a singles match, a bout that is not happening any time soon with Mone now in AEW. Lynch was asked about the match on The Unlikely Podcast with Adrian Hernandez and said that it could be a WrestleMania main event if it did end up coming together. You can see highlights below, per Fightful:

On the match never happening: “We never got that four-way match. But I think if that ever does happen, that’s a WrestleMania main event. So anything is possible.”

On the four of them having a similar mindset and goals toward the industry: “That was the driving force as well. I think that was what made it, is that we all had the same goal. We also knew that nobody could do it by themselves. It needed to be a group effort and it was a group effort, but we had this healthy competitive spirit, where it was like, ‘I want to be the top guy, I want to have the best match.’ Having that drive I think continues to push one another because rising tides lift all ships. It definitely did that.”

On changing the dynamic of women’s wrestling in WWE: “We didn’t want to accept that being just relegated to short matches and stigmas of what we could do or couldn’t do and we wanted to change that. We all wanted to change that and we did.”
