Marshall Von Erich recently revealed that he suffered a torn pectoral muscle. The co-ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champion revealed the news on the Von Erichs Podcast, noting that he suffered the injury doing a dropkick.
“I’m actually coming off of a torn pec because I was all hyped up,” Marshall said (per Fightful). “I threw a drop kick and I felt like I got too much air when I landed. I wasn’t ready for it. It’s crazy what the crowd and adrenaline will do to you.”
Marshall did not mention when the injury happened; he last competed alongside his brother at the September 25th ROH TV tapings. The two hold the Six-Man Tag Team Championships along with Dustin Rhodes. No word on when they will return to the ring.
