Shingo Takagi vs. Konosuke Takeshita Set For NJPW Wrestle Kingdom, Possible Double Title Match
As previously reported, Shingo Takagi challenged Konosuke Takeshita to a future match. That match will be set for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19, which happens at the Tokyo Dome on January 4. The match is currently set to be for Takagi’s NEVER Openweight Championship, but could be for the AEW International title if Takeshita is still champion at that time. Here’s the updated lineup:
* IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Zack Sabre Jr. (c) vs. Shota Umino
* IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship: DOUKI (c) vs. El Desperado
* IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship: Kevin Knight & KUSHIDA (c) vs. Bullet Club War Dogs (Clark Connors & Drilla Maloney) vs. Catch 2/2 vs. Ichiban Sweet Boys
* IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship: David Finlay (c) vs. Yota Tsuji
* IWGP World Television Championship: Ren Narita (c) vs. Ryohei Oiwa vs. Jeff Cobb
* NEVER Openweight Championship: Shingo Takagi (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita
