New John Cena Movie Is Massive Hit for Prime Video

John Cena may have lost the WWE Title at Summerslam last night to Cody Rhodes and got hit with an F5 from Brock Lesnar, but he his acting career got some good news today.

Deadline reports that Heads of State, which stars Cena and Idris Elba and is directed by Ilya Naishuller, has topped 75 million views globally, making it a huge success for Amazon Prime Video. It is now Amazon MGM Studios’ fourth most-watched movie ever for Prime Video.

Cena still is behind The Rock though, who starred in Red One, which remains Prime Video’s most watched Amazon MGM film ever.

Heads of State was also #1 on Nielsen’s Movie chart for its debut week, clocking 1.098 billion minutes streamed and has been the #1 film on Prime Video for four weeks.
