Latest Update on the Health of Will Ospreay Heading Into AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

As previously reported, Will Ospreay noted on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite that he was not cleared to wrestle at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, which is why the match is ‘Lights Out’ and unsanctioned. It turns out there is some truth to the news that Ospreay is working hurt. PWInsider reports that Ospreay’s comments on Dynamite about needing neck surgery are “100% legitimate”. Ospreay is looking to have the surgery in the near future.

Ospreay will team with Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Darby Allin on Sunday in a Lights Out Steel Cage match against Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, The Young Bucks and Gabe Kidd.
