Ted DiBiase Recalls Having ‘Really Great Matches’ With Jake Roberts

On not seeing Jake Roberts’ substance issues: “I wasn’t around him enough. I mean — and again, I didn’t travel with him. And so I didn’t have a very — you know, my relationship with Jake got better later. I don’t know how to explain that, but I definitely saw his skill, saw his ability.”

On not being able to name his greatest matches: “In the ring — and people have asked me before, ‘Who’d you have the greatest matches with?’ And I said, ‘Well, I can’t — I mean, that’s ridiculous. There’s no one person, because you wrestle so many,’ I said. But at the top of the list, it’s got to be, one of those guys is Jake Roberts. Jake and I, we really had some great matches.”
