Note on Original Plan For Hologram Prior To Recent Injury

As previously reported, Hologram suffered an injury that will keep him out for the rest of 2025. He was set to face Kyle Fletcher for the TNT title, with Hologram’s winning streak on the line. Instead, Orange Cassidy took his place. This led to the debut of El Clon, who was originally meant to attack Hologram.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the masked star was set to get a more serious push over a longer period of time. However, a knee injury put a stop to that.

The original plan was for El Clon to end Hologram’s streak by costing him the match with Fletcher. Hologram and Clon would then feud. In the past, Hologram has stated that Clon (formerly Arez) was his favorite career opponent.
