Revenge was a dish best served cold at WWE Crown Jewel Perth. Former rivals Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley teamed up against common enemies, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). Ripley and Sky finally got a measure of payback against their heated rivals at today’s premium live event.

Ultimately, Ripley and Sky picked up the pinfall victory. Ripley hit Sane with the Riptide, which was followed by a picture perfect moonsault by Sky, who scored the 1-2-3 to secure the win for the team, which was nicknamed “RHIYO” by WWE. Ripley and Sky finally got some much-needed payback against The Kabuki Warriors, after weeks of sneak attacks and beatdowns.

This ironically all started last month on WWE Raw. In the main event, Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka. After the match, Asuka and Sane assaulted Ripley before Sky came down to the ring attempting to convince Asuka to stop with the attack. Instead, Asuka hit sky. A conflicted Sane also joined Asuka in the attack. This ultimately forged the RHIYO alliance against The Kabuki Warriors, with Sky promising to take down her former stablemates. At least tonight, Iyo Sky made good one her promise to bring down Asuka and Sane.

The win arguably also makes the Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky tag team potential contenders for reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, as they defeated The Kabuki Warriors, who are former two-time WWE Women’s Team Team Champions. However, it remains to be seen if Ripley and Sky will continue their alliance and pursue a shot at the tag team titles.

Ripley and Sky might turn their sights at reigning Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, who was also victorious at today’s PLE, beating WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to win the second annual WWE Crown Jewel Women’s Title.
