Drew McIntyre Explains Why He Is Excited To Be In The WarGames Match At Survivor Series 2025

Former World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre cannot wait for Survivor Series: WarGames. The Scottish Warrior will team up with Brock Lesnar, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and Logan Paul to take on CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Usos in the Men’s WarGames Match this weekend.

In a recent appearance on ESPN’s Get Up, Drew explained why he is so excited to be in what is expected to be a brutal match inside the double-caged steel structure. For Drew, it’s simple. By being in this match, he gets to beat up every single person who has made his life hell in recent years.

The Scottish Warrior detailed his issues with each member of the babyface team before adding that he can’t wait for WarGames.

“For me personally, I love being in this type of match because my opponents are literally everybody I hate. Roman Reigns, who’s made my life hell for years, including his stupid family. His cousins, the Usos, are in there; I get to beat them up, too. We got Cody Rhodes, Homelander, the current champion; he has scr**ed me out of the World Championship twice now. He’s had management suspend me, so I get my hands on him. Then there’s CM Punk; the last time I was in a cage with him, he caused me to get 17 staples right down the middle of my head. So, I owe him. So I can’t wait to be in WarGames,” Drew McIntyre said.

McIntyre has been feuding with the OG Bloodline for years now, and he had an iconic rivalry with CM Punk last year. He is currently embroiled in a feud with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes on Friday Night SmackDown. It will be interesting to see if he manages to seek revenge on his rivals at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29.
