Major League Wrestling (MLW) President Cesar Duran, formerly Dario Cueto of Lucha Underground, is making some bold promises for what’s to come from MLW later next year. He teased “new signings” and “new faces” yesterday (Dec. 6) via social media.
Cesar Duran wrote on MLW, “New signings. New faces. Familiar ones returning to collect old debts.” He continued, “@MLW is very busy… and very ambitious… as we prepare something new for 2026. Trust me… You will not be ready.”
Cesar Duran’s bold claims come after MLW recently announced that the company will be moving its headquarters to Charleston, South Carolina.
MLW founder Court Bauer said on the company moving its home base to Charleston, “Charleston isn’t just hosting Major League Wrestling anymore — it’s home. I’m thrilled to officially announce that MLW is moving its league headquarters to Charleston, South Carolina.”
Bauer also stated, “Charleston has real wrestling lineage, and it also has one of the strongest, healthiest business sectors in the country right now. The city is booming — tech, hospitality, entertainment — everything is on the rise. That kind of ecosystem is exactly what MLW wants to be part of.”
MLW’s next major event will be Battle Riot VII, featuring the trademark Battle Riot match, on Thursday, January 29. It will be held at the Osceola Heritage Park’s Events Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
