Jon Moxley Puts Kyle Fletcher to Sleep, Wins Continental Classic Semifinal Bout at AEW Worlds End 2025

Kyle Fletcher engaged in a tough and intense contest against Jon Moxley in their Continental Classic semifinal bout at AEW Worlds End 2025. However, Fletcher could not secure the victory.

Fletcher went nuts at one point, searching for the same screwdriver that Kazuchika Okada had used earlier to cheat to win and beat Konosuke Takeshita. However, he did manage to kick out a Paradigm Shift and a Death Rider from Moxley.

Eventually, Moxley locked Fletcher into a Sleeper Hold. While Fletcher fought to give up, his hand dropped, though he refused to tap out or submit. Eventually, the referee called for the bell, giving Moxley the victory.

After the finish, an angry Kyle Fletcher lost it and got in a cheap shot on Jon Moxley while the former AEW World Champion celebrated the victory. Moxley was still able to walk back through the crowd, but he was limping heavily.

It remains to be seen how that will come into play for his upcoming matchup against Okada. It will now be Moxley vs. Okada in the Continental Classic finals later tonight.
