Two Title Bouts Announced for NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka

New Japan Pro-Wrestling confirmed the first two title matchups for NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka, scheduled for next month. The IWGP Tag Team Titles and the NEVER Openweight Title will be defended at the event.

In the main event, The Knockout Brothers will be defending the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles against the winners of the upcoming match between the teams of Taichi and Tomohiro Ishii against Shota Umino and Yuya Uemura. The winning team will go on to challenge the Knockout Brothers for the titles on February 11.

Also up for the card, Aaron Wolf defends the NEVER Openweight Title against Ren Narita. Wolf won the title from EVIL last weekend at Wrestle Kingdom 20. Now, he’s looking to defend the title as House of Torture wants to regain the belt.

NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka takes place on February 11. The event will be held at the Edion Arena Osaka in Osaka, Japan. It will stream live on NJPW World. Here’s the current lineup:
