AJ Lee Names Her Extended Mt. Rushmore Of Women’s Wrestlers

AJ Lee was asked a ‘Mt. Rushmore’ question on the latest Hot Ones Versus as she was asked to name her list of women’s wrestlers, but got an extended amount of slots. The Mt. Rushmore question is one of the most pervasive asked during wrestling interviews, perhaps matched only by the “dream match” question. Lee was on the latest episode of Hot Ones Versus with her husband CM Punk when she was asked to rank her Mt. Rushmore of women’s wrestlers.
Punk, who is no stranger to the Mt. Rushmore topic, was asking the question off of a card. Punk gave his wife the opportunity to expand it out to six by noting that Mt. Rushmore was previously known as The Six Grandfathers by the Lakota, and asked Lee to name her Six Grandfathers of women’s wrestlers.
Punk also took the opportunity to take a shot at his permanent enemy Seth Rollins, referencing his past appearance with Becky Lynch on Hot Ones Versus. You can see the highlights below:
Lee On Her ‘Six Grandfathers’ Of Women’s Wrestlers:
“Oh gosh. Oh, this is so difficult. I feel you have to go through generations. Chyna, Lita, Beth Phoenix. [To Punk] You’ve dated a lot of these. I’m sorry, is it awkward? You have really good taste. I just– obviously. They’re so good!”
“I’m next. Wait, before me I would say Mickie James, then me. Then from the current generation, Bayley. It’s hard to only pick one from this. I could do a six of just this generation. They’re so good. Lyra, Roxanne, Rhea, Jade [Cargill], Becky [Lynch].”
Punk On If He Could Say Something Nice About Seth Rollins:
“I did see the the clip of Becky and Seth [on Hot Ones]. Becky pulled a card and said, “Say something nice about CM Punk or eat a wing.” And that little bitch just ate a wing.
“No [he wouldn’t eat a wing]. I would just gleefully say like, he really punched above his weight. That’s nice, right?”
