AEW has officially confirmed a Mixed Tornado Tag Team Match for Grand Slam: Australia. where the person who gets pinned or submitted will have their head shaved.

On tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, “Timeless” Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy defeated Gino Medina and Ladybird Monroe in a Mixed Tag Team match in quick time. However, their celebrations didn’t last long, as Wheeler Yuta launched a sneak attack on Cassidy. Storm slapped Yuta, only to be taken out by Marina Shafir.

Shafir and Yuta then teamed up to rain down blows on Cassidy. The female powerhouse picked up the Conglomeration member as his partner grabbed a mic to conduct an impromptu interview.

Yuta asked Cassidy a question, but the latter said that he couldn’t hear him over “that garbage hair.” Yuta snapped at this point, hitting Cassidy with the microphone repeatedly before storming outside the ring to bring a pair of scissors. As he was about to cut Cassidy’s hair, Toni Storm came to her partner’s rescue, taking out Shaifr with a German Suplex before grabbing the scissors. She attempted to use them as a weapon, but the heels stayed out of the firing line.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion then laid out a challenge for a Hair vs. Hair Mixed Tornado Tag Team match for Grand Slam: Australia, and it has been confirmed by the promotion on social media.

“#AEWGrandSlam Australia, 8/7 c. Saturday 2/14. Loser of the Fall Has Their Head Shaved Tornado Tag Match. Toni Storm/ @OrangeCassidy vs. @MarinaShafir/@WheelerYuta. Storm made the challenge + it’s official! Whoever gets pinned or submitted will get their head shaved on Valentine’s Day!”
